    Fun and educational!
What a fun game for preschool-aged children! I am an early childhood educator and mom of two littles - I wish I had owned this game years ago! It would have been wonderful for many of my young learners! I am happy that our family is able to enjoy it now and will definitely consider gifting this game in the future!THE BASICS:There are two sets of cards: one stack of animal bodies and one stack of animal heads. Place the stack of animal bodies, face up, on the floor or table. Place the animal head cards face-down around the other stack (see photo). Players take turns flipping over the head cards, attempting to choose the head that matches the currently displayed body. If it matches, that player keeps those animal cards. If it does not match, the card is placed back in its position and all players walk in a circle, pretending to be that animal. Repeat until all head and body cards have been matched. The player with the most completed animal sets at the end is the winner.TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES:-Animal identification (receptive/expressive)-Matching parts of a whole-Turn-taking / waiting-Counting-Pretend play / motor imitation-Spatial memory-More/less conceptsThis is a great game that is both fun and educational! My 2.5 year old understood the rules after just a few turns and asks to play it several times a day. I highly recommend this game for children ages 2-4 years (2-year-olds will require more adult support).See my photos for a closer look.
