Over 100 dollars is too much for this plane. I have a 50-dollar plane that is more reliable and flies great for my beginner son.
Day 2 addition: Our second day was less successful. The plane on take-off nose dived on take-off release a couple of times and split the foam body and cowling. The claims of durability and unbreakability feel false - the idea that it would split and break so early on is disappointing particularly as a nose dive isn't really a high impact event and one that can happen often as you learn to fly the plane. We will try to stick it together but not what I had expected from a $99 RC :(

You can fly this airplane in more spaces than you can fly the more advanced aircraft and still bring it home undamaged. It flies very fast especially pulling out of dives from high above. You can Also putt around all you want for about 20 minutes on a 500 battery. Yes, It takes hotter batteries easily and does all the stunts whether doing it yourself on expert or using the auto stunt button which is just so cool.
Now this can ONLY happen if you spend a week or as long as it takes to master flying using one of the Rc airplane apps. Don’t even think about flying without mastering flying on your phone. Of course that’s where the bad reviews stem from. You have to be the pilot of any Rc plane, even though the adds on the packaging etc says otherwise.
So definitely acquire one of these or a fleet. Very fun activity to add to your life.
Top reviews from other countries
Granted I had the throttle up and full gyros on.
Pros;
Easy to learn to fly with. The 6-Axis Gyros are a life saver. You can get some altitude, flip to manual controls and do some aerial acrobatics, then flip back to beginner and back to a steady flying easy to handle plane.
It's super lightweight, so well powered for its size. Being so small, makes a great park flyer.
The plane can land on many different surfaces, from grass, to gravel to concrete and asphalt.
The removable landing gear make the plane more nimble as it reduces drag and weight, the prop saver makes sure that if you have an oops with the ground, or another object, it has a less likelihood of breaking.
Cons;
There are a couple..
The landing gear sometimes will come away from the plane in flight, dropping almost like little bombs down to the ground. It's funny when it happens.
The controls can be pretty difficult in full manual mode, trimming it out isn't as easy as on my Flysky Remote, but we're talking completely different objects.
All in all, for what you get and what you pay, you get a very very fun little flier! I highly recommend one. You can modify them to your hearts content if you'd like. Add an FPV camera and fly from the seat of your pants, so to speak. If you're looking for a fun park flier, then I highly recommend this little plane! A joy to fly for all ages!

- great trainer
- simple set up
- easy flying (just take your time and don't over correct like anything you fly or start at)
- lightweight
- replacement parts and dual batteries
- inexpensive for an entry RC
- fairly resilient after a few pretty big crashes
Cons
- lightweight (if it's at all gusty or windy don't fly this, I had to wait a week before testing it due to conditions)
- wheels aren't sturdy (made of foam and also pop off kind of easily). One side wouldn't spin well, so while taxing would catch and tip over. Fixed this with some wd40
- unknown range. Not sure you want to try to find the outer limits, I was reading it'll just keep going and going and going into the sunset
Overall - I'd definitely recommend this, I've had a blast learning for the first time with no real training. I have always wanted to get into and try this but didn't want to fork over too much money only to crash it out on the first few flights.
